Coffee Connoisseurs
Duration: 1.5 hours
Learn all there is to know about coffee at home, how to make coffee on everything from espresso machines to the humble plunger. Find out the history of coffee from its early beginnings to today’s espresso culture. Learn how to make café quality espressos in your own kitchen.

Back to Basics
Duration: 1 hour
This course covers the fundamentals of assembling basic espresso-style coffees. Students will learn how to correctly adjust and clean grinders, basic milk techniques, coffee machine cleaning and maintenance.

Bronze Level
Duration: 1.5 hours
Designed to take café owners, managers and keen baristas to the next level of espresso coffee making. Further develop your skills and learn how to train your own staff. This class will demonstrate how to develop a consistency of product that all café owners desire, but many that cafes can rarely produce. Attendees will master the building blocks essential to allow you café to take espressos to the next level.

Silver Level
Duration: 3 hours
A bean-to-cup journey covering the history of coffee, single origin beans, coffee blending, and roasting right up to today's modern café culture. Dispel or confirm the myths, and learn new skills including coffee art, basic coffee machine maintenance and problem solving. Applicants must complete 'Bronze Level' before attending this course.

Gold Level
Assessment duration: 1 hour
Are you the best of the best? This is your chance to prove it. Applicants will be asked to demonstrate their skills in a practical assessment during normal café conditions. Demonstrated skills must include an ability to produce a consistent, high quality product, value add to the coffee product with the addition of coffee art and show an in-depth knowledge of the origins of modern day espresso culture. Applicants must complete ’Silver Level’ before booking for this assessment (charges may apply for non-conformance).
